A stat-sheet stuffer, he leads the team with 13.2 points per game, 8.9 rebounds per game, and 1.6 blocks per game. In a 58-54 victory over Miami (OH) on Mar. 9, Jon Smith put up nine points and 10 rebounds for the Bobcats. He is averaging 4.8 points per game in addition to a team-best 1.5 blocks per game.
